Run prize promos in Canada without legal heartburn.
Why skill testing questions?
In some regions, prize promotions and instant-win campaigns must include a skill-testing question to stay legally compliant.
Until now, teams were hacking this together manually, or avoiding Instant Win and Delayed Win altogether.
What's new?
Within Instant Win and Delayed Win, you'll now find a toggle called Skill-Based Test by Region. Turn it on, and then select your required countries for a Skill-Based Test and we'll handle the logic automatically.
If a fan selects a required region in your entry form, we'll present a system-generated math question before they can complete their entry.
✅ Pass = proceed.
❌ Fail = graceful retry.
⚠️ Setup Note: To use this feature, you must ask for Country in your entry form.
When you'd use it
Say you're a major promoter running an international giveaway. Canada requires a skill-testing question, but let's say Japan doesn't.
With this update, the same campaign can now handle both - fans in Canada see a skill testing question, fans in Japan skip it. One build, less legal risk, smoother experience.
Try it out
Open your next Instant Win or Delayed Win campaign > configuration, toggle Skill-Based Test by Region on.
