Search for custom fields at the campaign level

You’re collecting such a rich data set of information from fans across every single campaign. And let’s be honest - remembering to tag every custom field as “global” to be able to search for it later was not always top of mind… especially in the heat of campaign season.

Which meant later, when you were digging for fans who said “yes” to “are you a hockey fan?” across your activations, you’d have to use RegEX or see your search come up empty. Even though you knew the data was there.

Now we’ve fixed that.

What’s new (in plain English):

You can now search custom fields at the campaign level - even if they weren’t set as global at the time.

That means:

  • No more lost segmentation data
  • No more missed targeting opportunities
  •

So if a fan entered “TBits Kraken” as their favourite artist or team in a sponsored contest from 2022, and that field wasn’t global, you can still find them now. Just search for that field (and corresponding value, if needed) and the FanCRM will surface the fans who match.

How you might use this:

Let’s say you ran a March Madness bracket in 2023, and one of your fields was “Your Final Four Picks,” but you didn’t mark it as global. Flash forward to today, and your ticketing team wants to re-engage fans who picked Kansas.

With campaign-level custom field search, just filter for that field/value and choose that campaign, and you’re off to the races! No data lost, no rework needed.

You can also layer:

  • Specific campaigns (only the 2023 bracket)
  • Values (e.g. Kansas or Uconn)

“This hopefully closes more of a long-standing pain point. It’s especially useful for our partners who have run dozen of campaigns over the years and didn’t always have time to plan ahead with data structuring - now they don’t have to.” - Selena, Product @ TBits
